Stroka Business Group winner of the Golden Innovation Award

On 17 September 2020 the Koroška region chapter of the Slovenian Chamber of Industry and Commerce conferred awards for the best innovations in the region for the year 2020. We are honored that our FARSIGHT solution received a gold award.

On behalf of Stroka Business Group our CEO and owner Sandi Markon accepted the award, pointing out that the employees are the reason for winning: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our employees who collaborated in the development of the FARSIGHT platform, contributing their diverse know-how to the successful project launch. We have once again managed to prove that we make a great team."

The FARSIGHT platform was developed to allow organizations such as Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, healthcare workers, public utility workers and rescue workers, who face challenges of fieldwork, to fully utilize modern tools in making their work more productive. The solution uses augmented and virtual reality to improve planning, execution, reviewing the actual spatial conditions, and managing work assets. It is tailored to utilize the most advanced devices, based on the internet of things, such as drones, smart watches, smart glasses, and various sensors. Employing the advantages of machine learning and predictive analytics will ensure safer and easier work of field teams and provide an overview of the efficiency and utilization of work resources. For the most complex scenarios blockchain technology can also be implemented. Alongside the Slovenia-based Stroka produkt from the Stroka Business Group other partners from different European countries and beyond have joined the project.
