Roko d.o.o. is a Slovenian company, founded in 1994, specialising in the wholesale of agricultural products. With over 25 years of experience in the agricultural sector, the company provides a wide range of products including seed, plant protection products, fertilisers and spare parts for agricultural machinery. One of their greatest successes is the distribution of quality seed potatoes, imported annually from various European countries.
Experience and new challenges
Despite many years of success, Roko d.o.o. faced the challenge of an outdated online shop. The existing platform did not allow for a modern user experience and connection to the ERP system, which made it difficult to manage stock and sales from two warehouses. The decision to build a new website was inevitable in order to improve functionality and flexibility.

- Payment systems: the platform is connected to more than 200 different payment systems and payment methods, several payment method options have been arranged on the client side, including Stripe, Bankart, LeanPay, Lab4Pay, QR code pre-invoicing.
- Logistics: a GLS postal escort has been set up to dispatch orders via the online shop.
- Advertising: nopCommerce offers extensions to integrate with various advertising channels, including Google Ads and the Meta advertising platform (Facebook and Instagram Ads) and Mailchimp. All integrations have been arranged due to the company's desire to grow digitally.
As part of the improvements to the user experience, special attention has also been paid to the insight of orders to passengers on the ground.
